Full Time Students PMGSB Won The 1st Prize of Marketing Competition 2013

JAKARTA - MAY 18th, 2013. Midas team from the Prasetiya Mulya Graduate School of Business (PMGSB) became the first winner of Marketition 2013 and got the grand prize, a competition was organized by the creative marketing club of Prasetiya Mulya Management Society in collaboration with Trinity Optima Production. Marketition is a marketing plan competition open to students majoring in S2 and S1 of business / management and other programs. Real cases were provided by the Trinity Optima Production. Participants were asked to provide a creative marketing planning solutions.

Teams that signed up there were 53 of various universities: PMGSB, Graduate School of Management and Business IPB (MB-IPB), Master of Management Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia (MM-UI), PPM Management, School of Business and Management ITB (SBM-ITB), Binus Business School, Telkom Institute of Management (IM-Telkom), Gajah Mada University Master of Management (MM-UGM), and the University of Surabaya. Of the 53 teams, only 15 teams are eligible to pass into the grand final and present their marketing plan before the jury. Assessment for entry into the final stage of the round was done by blind review. It means that the jury did not know the name and the origin of their home campuses so that the values ​​are taken completely objective. The juries as representatives of Trinity Optima Production were the Yonathan Nugroho as Managing Director, Christian Oscar as Strategic Marketing, and Iwan Hadibroto as HR Manager.

After the event, the sponsor, Trinity Optima Production, gavea positive impression on the competition, they provided an opportunity for a championship team to revise the marketing plan that would be submitted to the management to be executed. And of course the executed marketing plan will get its own reward.

"Overall the show was really interesting, from the case study about Indonesia music industry was really exciting. I have never thought to win The Marketition 2013 as we saw other team were really all out with lots of props and uniforms at the time of presentation. However, it turned out that our team was selected as a winner. It gave own pride and hope this program can actually be applied in the future" Ferdinand Hadi said, from Midas team which is the second semester students in PMGSB and undergraduates from Singapore's Nanyang Technological University.
