New MM Global Executive Program (Collaboration with Erasmus University)

Universitas Prasetiya Mulya has established a new programcalled the MM Global Executive in cooperation with Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) in the Netherlands. It is a commitment of Prasetiya Mulya to create entrepreneurs and business leaders who are ready to compete globally.

Jakarta, 6 April 2017 – Universitas Prasetiya Mulya is now starting a MM Global Executive Program. The programme was officially launched at Grand Hyatt Hotel Jakarta on Thursday, 6 April 2017. The MM Global Executive Program is established in collaboration with Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), the Netherlands, and will targeting middle and senior level managers with a global business orientation.

The new MM Global Executive Program has been created to fulfill the needs and challenges of business leaders living in a dynamic business world. This program also shows the commitment of the founders to bring together two educational institution with high standards in the field of business and management.

The first cohort will start in October 2017 at Cilandak Campus in Jakarta, every two weeks specifically 1st and 3rd Friday (6.30 pm to 10.00 pm) and Saturday (09.00 am to 3.30 pm), that lasts 24 months (plus 2 months matriculation). This program is conducted by academics both from Prasetiya Mulya and RSM.

According to the Financial Times European Business School ranking 2016, RSM is one of the top 10 business schools in Europe. It is part of the renowned Erasmus University, which is home to the first Nobel Prize winner in economic sciences, Jan Tinbergen. RSM is located in Netherlands, one of the most open, innovative and dynamic economic areas in the world. The school  was founded in 1970 by reputable Dutch companies, such as Shell, Philips, Unilever, AkzoNobel, Tata Steel (formerly Hoogovens), and ABN AMRO, to meet the needs for excellent management education.

The MM Global Executive will prepare graduates to enter the global business arena, ppossessing a business understanding in different socio-economic and multicultural settings (global mindset), broadening their global network  as well as having the ability to capture the opportunities of global markets. This program also offers opportunities for students to gain international exposure through international field studies (in-class sessions and company visits), global case study learning methods, and a global project as their final assignment. In this global project, students are assigned in groups to complete a global project. They have to identify, define and analyze real management challenges faced by their assigned, globally operating company. The students will have to apply their knowledge in practice and propose viable recommendations.
